Gold

Gold
There is no true get rich scheme
What ever you pursue will be work
Though there is moments of richness
That are more priceless then any gold or diamond
Journey with a friend
A goal to pursue
Pursuing goal that reminds you of life
The goal you were pursuing becomes obsolete
It was not what we found beneath the earths surface
It was not what flowed within the streams
It was what mother nature gives daily
That so many take advantage of
So many pass by without noticing
Many will not see personally in their lifetime
Life should not be experienced in a post card, picture, television or on the internet
It should be lived hands on
Much to see, much to to do in this world
A world that is ever changing
Asking me if the goal was profitable
Answer would be yes
No bank could ever hold the wealth I found
Only the gold

Tall Grass

In the tall grass you stand
Hands slide around to pull closer
Lips kiss the crease of the neck
As your hair tumbles in the warm breeze
Thoughts roam to the scent that pulls one in as the other finds comfort in ones arms
Moments pass to innocent interaction, hands that hold tight in longing stares
In the tall grass you turn
Hands embrace the back firmly
Lips kiss
As your hair tumbles in the warm breeze
Clouds slumber as the sun beats through, eyes closed to reflect and
the tall grass becomes rock of what is not
Sweat drips from brow to hazy that becomes clear as you were not
In tall grass I stand

Words in The Palm

In my palm
Feel what I do not say
Stare at the lines that have been etched
In the mirror
Starring at a face that has met me
A man that has seen days of yesterday
A man if he was to look back nothing would be the same
The scars, tattoo’s and the lines that run through
Reminders to who I have grew
In my palm
Feel your heart beating as your cheek rest in torn flesh
Let me rest within your loins as fingers go through my hair
Settle the demons I have soared
In the mirror
Seeing you staring back at me
A man that has been fortunate
A man that has a future
No angel in disguise just a loving hand
What was my past?
All I can see now
As if I had not lived
Warmth beyond a coldness to a non ending journey
Now all I know is you from waking breath till my last
Close your eyes and feel me write
3 words in your palm

Six Foot Hole and A Anchor

Six foot hole and a anchor
Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it to the side
Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it to the side

In a field I dig
Dig and dig
In a hole I stand

Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it to the side
Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it to the side

I will leave it here
Buried with emotion
Buried with love

Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it back in the hole
Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it back in the hole

There is no map
No interest to collect
You do not want this treasure

Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it back in the hole
Scoop a load of dirt
Throw it back in the hole

This is where I will leave my heart that has been an anchor
It will lay six foot under
Throw a scoop of dirt
Back in the hole

Canvas

Not at the top though in the world
Do not see the tone of the colors
Feel them
Touch with your fingertips
Discover within

Feel the harmony without sight
Know who with silent lips
Nurture thought as a tomato plant in a garden
Travel even as we lay

Canvas with even stroke
Although mystery in odds
You have drawn a pear
I have taken a bite

Words of the heart
Will not fade like a photo
Like the heart memories will be etched
The soul will know even if the mind does not

Not at the top though in the world
Do not see the shapes of the color
Feel them
Touch with your fingertips
Discover within

Feel the harmony without sight
Know with simplicity
No one is perfect though the idea of finding perfect
As we walk here in the woods
We will stand at this level of priceless unlike antiques

As brush to paint
We will be found in the world of a canvas that burst into one
Knowing out from inside
